THIS BOOK IS A GUIDE TO LOVE This book is a guide to love for those who want to stay connected to their beloved. Each poem I wrote to Lisa will serve as a guide for you to draft your own letters. Just use the blank pages to draft or copy a poem that reminds you of who you're thinking about and why. It doesn't have to be perfect, it doesn't always have to rhyme and you shouldn't worry about it sounding silly. In fact, being a little silly is part of what makes writing poems fun. If you've run out of creative writing fuel, just copy what I wrote and replace Lisa's name in my poem with the name of someone you're missing. Then simply cut out the page, fold it in half, drop it in the mail, or simply place it where your loved one will find it. This is not a test. These are not graded. They are messages between you and your beloved. Love is all you need. My Lisa and I are closer together now because we stay connected. I hope my Odes from the Soul help you stay close to the ones you love, no matter near or far away.
