There's no such thing as the "RA Personality." Being a successful RA isn't about being uber-extraverted, unbelievably creative, or flawless. No one is perfect, and it's dangerous to pretend to be. Being a superhero RA is about self-reflectivity, knowing your strengths and limits, and having the commitment to instantly adapt to your environment. There's no better position than an RA for becoming aware of your vulnerabilities and personal growth points, and catalyzing your development as a social leader. Superhero staff members think deeply, and act fast. Learning as you go, re-framing problems as opportunities, and having a bias-towards action will take you far. Building a community takes planning, effort, and most-importantly, intention. I metaphorically think of intention as the moral of a story - it's the holistic take-away or conceptual effort behind every event you organize, every conversation you have, every hug you give.
