Nuestros Cuentos Cuarto 37 Sarah Downey

This book is a collection of this year's characters and stories created by Mrs. Downey's students in CMS room 37. I have used Tina Hargaden and Ben Slavic's invisibles throughout this year and in three different levels of Spanish. These stories were created by 8th graders and are a great example of the 14 year olds culture. Themes in these stories range from: popular memes, FortNite, Tide Pods, Gucci flip flops, Supreme hoodies, iPhones, unfaithful boyfriends, Snapchat just to list a few. The stories are pure creations of my student's amazing imaginations. This book would be a great addition to a classes' free voluntary reading library because of the variety of topics and varying levels of the readings. I have been using comprehensible input and TPRS methods for 7 years with much success in the middle school classroom. These stories were created by Connections Spanish 8th grade, Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 in eight grade. I hope ya'll enjoy our stories as much as we enjoyed making them.
