James is a young boy who loves baseball. He lives in New York but is a big Angels fan. His best friend Carl starts to learn that he might like baseball too. Carl then decides that he wants to tryout for James's team. James is faced with the challenge of turning Carl into a good baseball player so Carl can make the team. Tryouts were coming up fast and Carl was finally showing improvement, but then Carl and James are both shocked when Carl might have to move and screw everything up.
