'ERGONOMICS by the Letter' was written due to an overwhelming response to an opening keynote presentation, by the same name, that the author made on August 23, 2017 at the National Ergonomics Conference and Ergo Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. This book shares the "truisms", that have been taught by and observed at customers around the world, which can help everyone, everywhere, every time. These classic truisms are guaranteed to work because they are based on the sound rules that have proven to improve human and business performance, and have shown to inspire the human spirit. The biggest truism of all is that for a company to be successful, their people must be successful. How companies involve their employees, treat them, design for them, and choose to maximize their individual potentials will determine a company's total success. People are a company's number one asset. We all know this intuitively, but usually our actions speak otherwise. How the work and workplaces are designed and how we involve and treat our employees speaks to the major differences between good companies and bad companies.
