This book uses both rhyme and rhythm to tell the story of imaginative play. Pretend play is one of the simplest forms of entertainment, is vital to a child's learning, and can help them to identify their passions in life. Lexi spends many hours alone, so she collects play things, and stores them underneath the stairs. When she plays, she can imagine anything she likes and pretends to do and be just that.
