Over the last 15 years I have learned many things. I have learned through trial and error what medications work and which ones do not. I have been through the depths of hell and back. I have a lot of demons and a monster inside and over those many years I have learned to maintain those inner demons and keep the monster controlled. I have healed in many ways and moved on with my life. This compilation of poems serves as a testament of healing and empowerment. It also focusses on how medicating one symptom can cause another. "At One with My Two Halves" touches on themes associated with bipolar disorder and the healing process from years of experience that has accompanied it as well. Mental health is still prevalent in this compilation; as it is a forever lasting condition. However, you will see the mood has shifted.
