"My Rain is a portfolio of intimate poetry, first released in 2007 and now re-released in commemoration of its 10th year anniversary. In putting this title together, my process was to create a collection of verses that would tell a story, making it effortless to enjoy and at the same time inviting you, the reader, into a temporary state of emotional being. Successfully doing so has made this book unique, in that it is a biography, letter, diary, script, and novel, all disguised as poetry. It represents a state of physical, spiritual, and rational sensation, beginning as a description of romantic innocence, and evolves to demonstrate levels of social consciousness, spirituality, physical expression, disappointment, misunderstanding, passionate reconnection... and finally a love letter, with the salutation: "Dear Love, ..." I hope that you will use this as inspiration to explore your own hidden passions and have the courage to release them creatively in facing emotionally and spiritually charged experiences." The author developed a passion for literature early in his life; a journey that culminated with the release of this project in the summer of 2007.
