This pre-prequel novel answers many of the outstanding questions left open to Star Wars fans everywhere. This story begins twenty years before "Star Wars: Episode 1, The Phantom Menace." Its goal is to provide a logical backstory or history of the dozens of characters that populate the Star Wars Galaxy. The lore of this Saga is complex and interwoven over a long span of time. But, for me at least, there were many questions that never seemed to be answered (although sometimes hinted at) through the many novels, movies and ancillary writings that came before. This is my attempt to "fill-in" the blanks, giving everyone a foundation to build on and providing a solid place to push-off from, arriving at the places and time of episode 1.
