In every circumstance of our life, we must offer forgiveness to the ones that have hurt and offended us. We must also choose to follow God's precepts and live in obedience to His Word. We can allow our sin nature to take its course or we can allow the power of our risen Lord to take over and enable us to live in accordance with His precepts and commands.
