Immigration is a tough business you have to assimilate into your new culture and find a way to provide for yourself. Your new life can be very challenging; if the immigrant cannot speak the language spoken in his adopted land or have a useful skill. This book is about this struggle and how all obstacles can be encountered and defeated. Our setting is in 14th thru 16th century Switzerland. And our foreigners are entering a new county and are trying to break from the domination of the Hapsburg Dukes as they did in their former land of Alsace.
