Backbones tells the story of their bond forming and strengthening over time, whilst continuing the story of Jake, who now finds himself in Japan with no memory of how he arrived or how to return home to the town he once loved. Continuing the 'TriloGY' with a blend of genre tropes, Backbones explores happiness, friendship, loss and the consequences of our actions.
