From Boy to Man Gavin Ramon Harvey

My story is a story that uniquely discusses the worldview of a young boy growing up in the inner city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. From becoming a teenage father, to overcoming the odds that were stacked against me, I stand strong as a man with conviction and lessons to share from my own experiences. The reader will enjoy the descriptive language used to explain the thoughts, emotions, and reasons for making the choices I made as I became of age. This book is not only a memoir, but a self help book for young fathers and fathers in general to stay encouraged on their life path.

The book advises fathers to find a way to be apart of the lives of their children regardless of circumstances and to strive to be productive members in society. From Boy to Man explores the deepest realms of reflection while pondering on my thought process as a young boy who grew into adolescence, young adulthood and into the man that I am becoming today. Stories from our perspectives are rarely told, so here's my testimony in hopes that the reader with understand my plight and take something away from my story that can be beneficial.
