They are challenging at times (not for beginners) without being overwhelming; at times joyful, at times uplifting, at times serene. In addition to being a great resource for teachers to play at lessons with their students, these duets are suitable for informal Christmas performances and many are appropriate for church services. Note: No effort has been made by the arranger to make these duets for trumpet compatible with most of the duet collections he has arranged for other instruments.
