Love, gratitude, and perseverance is what an event like no other has given me. I was faced with a difficult situation that some may call adversity. I, on the other hand, refer to it as a blessing that has taught me and given me the wisdom to exceedingly loving and appreciates God, my life, my family, and all the beautiful things that surround me. I was awakened to the magic of inspiration, of loving and living fully, inside a sentiment of peace and joy never imagined. Admittedly this process was difficult at the time, yet despite the mountains of pain that I had to climb, I finally made it to the peak, sweating joy and breathing peace with a profound exhaustion as a result of the emotions I had encountered. While writing "Embracing the Giant Within," my intent wasn't to portray myself as a victim, rather, to be a source of inspiration in the lives of others. I wrote this book as a great example of strength, persistence, and the love that we are all capable of learning and practicing. I hope you enjoy my book, "Embracing the GIANT Within" and that you share its overwhelming and positive message, just as I have enjoyed writing it and fighting against the diagnosis, which I call the Ten-Headed Monster (something unknown I had to confront), whose ego I am happily aware I hurt by not letting me defeat me. Just as I did, you too, dear reader, can overcome any obstacle that stands in your way, simply by remembering that you are more valuable than any adverse situation.
