Newlife Oil Company is convinced that there is a large oil reservoir under the Hooks' Ranch that is now in a trust for the county. The CEO, Steve MacCauley will do anything to get this oil. The control of the property is in the hands of the County Commissioners and Dr. Joe. Newlife's efforts to get approval is dangerous and malicious. Only Dr. Joe and his friends stand in the way of the Tomahawk Valley's devastation by the wealthy oil industry.
