A Collection of Poems

Dear Reader, I hope you enjoy the breadth of poetry in this book. This poem collection began years ago, when I first tried to use poetry to express my emotions and put my dreams and imagination into words This book is meant to be read any night of the year, whenever you want to cuddle up with family, a pet, or just by yourself. Perhaps it will happen on a freezing winter night when you just feel like languorously reclining in a rocking chair by the crackling fireplace. It might be on a broiling summer night, when the best thing to do is sit down and refresh your mind with a bowl of ice cream and a glass of water. Maybe it will be on a cool spring night, in your garden, on a blanket, looking up at the stars when you want to wonder about the mysteries of the universe. It might just happen on a windy autumn night, when you feel like being outdoors. Maybe you will be on your porch with the leaves falling around you, the breeze gently tickling your face.
