Writing this book was my therapy through a very difficult time in my life. It was my escape as well as my story. What I perceived to be the norm was turned upside down. I knew I had to stay grounded and focused on the bigger picture; my two sons. Life doesn't give you a pass because you are a "Single Mother". I had two sets of eyes watching me. I am their first example so quitting was not an option. I prayed so much until PRAYER became my second language. God undergirded me with the power of his grace and I prevailed. He placed the content of this book in my spirit through his word and prayer. My strength came from my PRAISE. I praised even when I was "Potty Training" my baby boy. I smile now at the thought of how much my boys and I praised, danced, and song to God. Despite it all, we made it. I want other moms to read my story and know they too can make it. Go ahead mothers; Don't stop Praying, Praising, and Potty Training because our work is never done...
