My First Day of School Nanny V

A beautifully illustrated rhyming story about a child's first day of school. This book is meant to alleviate worries a young child may have about starting school. It covers such topics as making a plan, making new friends, riding the school bus, finding your classroom, picking out the clothes they want to wear, getting a good night's sleep, eating breakfast and getting ready to learn. The book also offers many colors for the child to identify as well as the numbers 1-10 are scattered throughout the book so the child can also look for them. It is my hope this book will inspire a conversation between the reader and the child to share experiences about the reader's first day of school and things they did to alleviate fear and how everything worked out. Children of school age generally experience less stress if they have a plan and know what to expect in new circumstances. We hope you enjoy this book!
