Writing for the Kingdom: Praise and Glory is original verse written after a tragic accident. My pen seemed to be moving across the scrap paper of its own accord. Propped up in the hospital bed, I was reflecting on the last night's terror. I was recovering from a trauma injury. Massive amounts of medication, more than my small stature could tolerate, had caused hallucinations. Whether they be from the trauma I suffered, or Heaven-sent let the Reader be the judge. - Reflection comes to us all. - The verse flowed from my pen effortlessly. - This accident resulted in three booklets of verse. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Barbara is a retired Elementary Principal from Wisconsin. Motivating and inspiring children to love learning defined her career. A former Teacher of the Year, she was a fierce advocate for mastery learning through theme teaching. She wrote Lima Beans for Breakfast highlighting her memoir leading up to the accident that changed her life.
