This book is one of a collection of scripture readings for daily study, together with a selection of themed verses for meditation, either in isolation or as part of a regular prayer regime. This particular book contains additional readings for Advent, in which we prepare for the coming of our Lord at Christmas, Christmas itself and the days immediately after, which can be read in conjunction with the volumes covering November, December and January. Each day there is a selection of readings for morning and evening - there is no need to read both because they are independent but complimentary to each other. There is also a selection of Psalms, one or more of which can be included as a prayer or meditation. We pray that this book will help provide a methodical study of the wonderful treasure of the Bible and enrich our prayers.
