The study and appreciation of the literature of the region where the school is located in relation to the literature of the other regions of the country is the course description of the 21st Century Philippine Literature from the Philippines and the World. It is a course ordained by the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013 also known as the K to 12 Law to be taught at the New Curriculum of the Philippine Senior High School wherein as per performance standard students must demonstrate understanding and appreciation of 21st Century Literature of the World through adaptation of a text in other creative forms using multimedia. Thus students were encouraged to write short posts and poems containing their experiences, opinions and interests on blogs and other website portals. This anthology is a collection of some of the most interesting poems written by Manuel Luis Quezon Senior High School students. The anthology is deliberately written bilingual, using Filipino and English texts in the poems. The poems have been selected to be representative of the students' understanding of the literary texts and context of the region, the nation and the world.
