It provides Preemptive Measures parents may utilize in order to avoid getting the dreaded unexpected phone call from their child's school; and Damage Control strategies which can be implement during any terrifying "When," moment which may arise. The manual presents an interactive section "The Workbook," specifically designed for families to use to discuss the many faces of bullying. It even highlight the most detrimental of all bullies - The Grown-up bullies, the ones most parents and student encounter daily; those our society fail to focus its attention! Grown-up bullies were once children who were either victims of bullying or were themselves bullies, and their issues remain unresolved. The frightening truth about this group is, they often get away with bullying because they know how to be subtle, and many in our society expect grown-ups to know how to behave. Unfortunately, some of us do and some never learned. They hide behind the badge, and their job titles as they use their authority to intimidate those they perceive as weak.
