Mara Jarvis has been on autopilot for years, trying to run away from the past without realizing how tightly she's holding onto it. With Charlie as a constant companion, she's never really had to do anything on her own. After an offer to work on a film set with an old college friend, she has one last chance to finally put herself in the right direction before she's fairly certain she'll have to go crawling back to the parents who sent her running in the first place.
