Affinity is a futuristic love story about a young man searching throughout prior centuries for his soul mate; a tale of pure fiction. But the spiritual knowledge he gathers throughout his quest is pure fact. During my lifetime I have come to know the truth about life and death: No one ever dies. The night my father crossed over into spirit he returned home in his materialized spirit body wearing his smoking jacket. The day my mother died she called me long distance to tell me about her death experience; there is no pain, she said, you just step out of your physical body in your spirit body. A day after my brother died he materialized invisibly in front of me and gave me the same familiar hug he gave me the last time I saw him. A friend stopped my alarm clock the moment he crossed over into spirit. Another dear friend sent intense waves of love into my heart shortly after she left to go Home in spirit. During my life I have talked to many people about spirituality. Some find it comforting, a few are unmoved, but far too many are frightened. Still, I try to plant a spiritual seed. I tell them they are eternal spiritual beings; to see themselves not as a body with a spirit, but as a spirit with a body. I never knew if the seeds I planted years before would blossom, until those I had spoken to began to crossover and go Home, at which time they briefly contacted me before they departed to acknowledge the truth that life continues on in spirit. The common emotion perceived in all the spirit contacts I have had is the overwhelming joy and happiness expressed when the soul steps out of its physical body in its spirit body and realizes life goes on, which is followed by a deep desire to contact loved ones left behind to tell them they are okay. We are eternal spiritual beings: No one ever dies.
