Eddie Jenks sat alone at the table in the crowded coffee shop watching the young and beautiful barista serve coffee drinks with a smile, completely unaware that he was waiting for her to get off work within the hour. Tonight he planned to take her. Lieutenant Harlan Butler's wife vanished twenty years ago and her disappearance still torments him. Meanwhile, a local prostitute unwittingly provides a key piece of information to Laurel Billings, Butler's lover and the owner of the local newspaper. This unexpected tip ultimately enables Butler to solve the murders and wipe out the terrorist cell.
