Ten year old Lea, a smart cookie, must stay in an old hospital to have her eyes checked out. The hospital is not only a dreary place but has an angry nurse who hates children. There, she befriends a boy whose eyes swell and close when exposed to air pollution. Then, in an absurd, magical twist of fate she finds herself moving through time and space using her 10 inch tab. She is now in a position to seek a solution for her friend's problem. But, in an unfortunate escape from the nurse they end up in a wrong place ... and that's where the real adventure, full of suspense, begins.
