Inheriting the Castle of Hohenems in Carinthia, Austria, after the death of Nicholas Ferrers in a road accident, our heroes attempt to gain possession of the fortune secreted within, a collection of carved jewels of the Borgias, walled up in the dungeons, being opposed by the neighbouring those of Haydn and by Harris and his gang.
