My book bipolar me and myself, is a book of poems of my own experience of living with bipolar disorder. The poems are about both the highs (mania) and lows (depression). Most of the poems were written between2007/2008, a few are more recent up to January 2020.



I stopped writing for 10 years as I was recovering. This is my 2nd book my first was published in 2007 titled "what are you looking at". My book also includes some family poems my children have been so supportive over the last 20 years.



I started writing poetry whilst attending a day hospital in a creative art group. I had never written anything before, and it seemed a good way off expressing myself and how I was feeling.
