Prospero's Glove

Miss's new collection includes ekphrastic poetry-conversations with art, nature, music, and literary works-taking us on a journey beyond surface observations into an intimate relationship with each piece. They are at once love poems and historical narratives about each subject's personal experiences, resuscitating still life with breath, a heartbeat, and a soul. Best described in his poem "Benedict Pond," his poems remind us to "give yourself to what is, with a gentle joy."
