When it comes to the health and well-being of the black community, the onus will always be on the black man. Why? It's because the black man needs to know that he and other black men are behind enemy lines and are at the bottom of the totem pole. Black men must create their own standards of treatment as opposed to waiting on black women and these other demographics to give them fair treatment. The only person who the black man can change is himself. The reason black men have an issue grasping this concept is because most of them were raised in these emotional, matriarchal, and toxic environments. Why am I making these statements? It's because in this book, I am going to discuss how important it is for black men to have authority over their sons. If the black man does not have authority over his son, the kid will live a chaotic and confused life.
