It is no coincidence that we are placed under the big umbrella of being called Christians. Hence, we are disciples of Jesus Christ because we act like Him. As Christian, we go through what the disciples of Jesus went through. We face ridicule, hurt, embarrassments, discouragement, and sometimes death. James wrote in His letter in James 1:2-3: Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." We are faced with trials and testing, but we also experience victory with the help of the Lord.



This devotional documents practical experiences of trials, failures, victories, and inspirations, that will help to sharpen your Christian walk, and allow you to know that you can be authentic in your trials and still remain a Christian. Even if you lose some battles, your life can bring hope to the lost and dying and be of encouragement. Everything you go through, God already knew about it. He spoke to Jeremiah in the first chapter verse 5, "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you and set you apart and appointed you as prophet to the nations." Because God knew you, He knew you would come up against these circumstances; they are not new to any one person, but God has allowed me to document these experiences so you will know you are not alone and you can make it. Even through the odd circumstances in life, God has His hands on you.
