The Aim H E Sooriyaarachchi

G. J. C. K. Silva and H. E. Sooriyaarachchi who are reading for B. Sc. Entrepreneurship (Special) Degree in Department of Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka have compiled this case study as a partial requirement of the course unit, ENT 3344: Managing Entrepreneurial Growth offered by the aforesaid degree program. After completing the assignment, with the guidance of the course coordinator Ms. D. H. B. Y. Ranasinghe. they have thought on publishing it with the hope of sharing the knowledge that they gained.
The story has built around Mr. Yasarathne, who was an ordinary person of a remote area called Ranpathwila, Kahatagasdigiliya in Mihinthale and has gone through number of challenges in order to win the game of life. Currently, he has become a role model to the nascent entrepreneurs by being a successful entrepreneur overcoming various difficulties and taking risks in order to accomplish his target by being filled with qualities like commitment and discipline. Especially, his entrepreneurial spirit throughout indicate that anything done with good purpose is possible with proper planning.
