A life sentence is usually the end of the road for an inmate. All that lies ahead is years of appeals, details, and danger. The biggest past time for incarcerated men and women is trying to find activities to pass the time.

Some can spend hours a day reading or watching TV. Others play sports or board games to relieve the boredom. While some others write letters, poems, journals, and novels.
