Paul Francis Malamud (b. 1947) has been writing and translating, verse since his student days. Following college, a B. A. in British and French literature (1969), and a Ph. D. in British Literature (1980), he worked as a writer and editor for the U. S. government, in Washington, D. C.. He retired in 2008. His chapbook, Horace and the French, (Kelsay Books) contains verse translations from Latin and Renaissance French.
