The way of home, school, and friendships and looking at how it was then for families in the years following WWI. It is a story of trust and love and a deep attachment to animals. Of courage and of the sharing of that time that helped people settling into a new country, that bound them together in mutual co-operation. Many of the incidents are true. Only the names and situations have been changed. Travel with Amy as she struggles to believe in herself.
