Jackson visits Papa in the hospital and then he travels to Augusta, Georgia to visit him for a week. They do different activities together, like watching TV and eating dinner, and the trip means so much more to Jackson than he could ever realize. Jackson gets the chance to learn about his family history, connect with the older generation of his family, and appreciate the time he has with his loved ones. After he leaves Papa's house, Jackson thinks about how his week with Papa is more than a trip but a lifelong memory he will cherish forever.
