When life throws you a curveball that your religious beliefs can't accommodate, you either climb into a conformist cage of unhappiness or find a new way to live. Rearview Poetry: Unraveling a Lifetime of Anxiety is Jason Greer's story of navigating a family mental health crisis and his subsequent "deconstruction" from the fundamentalist religion he grew up in.




As Jason discovered a world that had been denied him, he also found healing through self-expression. One day he wrote a poem. Then another. And another. Years of anxiety came tumbling out, followed by emotions and possibilities he never knew existed.
