Can a teaching resource tool be written for educators that will withstand the ages, never be outdated and always be useful? A loaded question right? This is an attempt to create such a resource tool that speaks to the effective teaching approaches that will help any educator at any age in any era of their teaching or administrative career REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY "NEW WAYS" OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING ARE CREATED!

From a teaching lens how do I know if my teaching is reaching my students? Beyond the qualitative data, how can I effectively deliver instruction when every year (or in some cases every quarter) it seems my district is spear-heading, piloting, or implementing some "New and Innovative Research Based Initiative" which will supposedly "improve" leading, teaching, learning, and of course assessment scores?

From an administrative lens, do I possess the skill set to make an informed evaluation of my teachers? What am I (as the instructional leader of my school) observing and what do I note during a walkthrough of my schoolrooms? What are my expectations of teachers, students, and classrooms when I enter a lesson for a walkthrough?

This resource tool will offer TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS a blueprint of effective tips, data collection and feedback styles, along with clear ideas of what is being noticed and the expectations that are desired during a walkthrough of a classroom lesson.
