Desiring to care deeply for the children and youth of their church, pastors Will and Irene Peace find themselves intricately involved with a family whose ten children have been severely affected by a web of violence and abuse. When two of the children are picked up by Social Services because of the abuse, Will and Irene become foster parents, hoping they can protect the children and provide a safe environment where they can begin to heal. Irene shares the struggles she and her husband experience after learning of their own children's abuse at the hand of one of their foster daughters.
