Lopez: Adriana V. Lopez is the founding editor of Criticas Magazine and edited the story collection Fifteen Candles. Lopez's journalism has appeared in the New York Times and the Washington Post and her essays and fiction have been published in anthologies such as Border-Line Personalities, Colonize This! and Juicy Mangoes. Currently, she is translating Susana Forte's novel Waiting for Robert Capa and divides her time between New York and Madrid. Carmen Ospina: Carmen Ospina directs the digital program at Random House Mondadori in Barcelona, Spain. Born and raised in Colombia, she lived in New York for eight years where she coedited Criticas magazine and worked as an editor at Umbrage Editions and a freelance journalist for World Press Review and NY1 Noticias. She has lived in Barcelona since 2006 and rides her bike every day. Contributor Bio:  Lopez, Adriana V Adriana Lopez was the founding editor of Criticas magazine, Publishers Weekly's Spanish-language sister publication. Lopez's work has appeared in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, among other publications. A member of the PEN American Center, she lives in New York City. Contributor Bio:  Obejas, Achy Achy Obejas was born in Havana and came to the United States as a young child. She is a cultural writer for the Chicago Tribune. Her articles have appeared in Vogue, The Nation, Ms. Latina, the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Reader, Girlfriend, High Performance, New City, and Chicago Reporter. She is the author of Memory Mambo, a novel, and We Came All the Way from Cuba So You could Dress Like This?, a collection of short stories. She is a frequent speaker at universities and community centers across the country and in Cuba.
