At seven years old Donna was named 'The Mystery Girl, ' when a stroke and its complications left doctors baffled. The diagnosis was that she would never walk or talk again. After amazing results, she became known as 'The Miracle Girl' during her recovery, even while facing a long road of rehabilitation ahead of her.

Now Donna is 'The Unlikely Marathoner'. Her chosen challenge was to learn to run again after thirty-four years. Only able to run thirty tentative steps, Donna trained for eleven months to complete a marathon (42.2 km).
