Rita Patel, a history student and solver of mysteries, is snatched from the busy centre of the city of Leicester, her home town. Suspicion falls on a lodger who stayed at the family home for a while, and on Rita's boyfriend. Meanwhile Rita's old school friend, Priya, learns about the murder on a train of Afzal Kahn. Rita was a witness to the incident and gave evidence in the trial of his daughter Tanisha. Could those events be connected?
