Set in the present day, we find computer system analyst Cal Cabon suddenly thrust into an unimaginable existence. Finding friendship with a small band of inhabitants, together, they hatch a plan of escape. But as they delve further into their quest for an answer, they realise that escape is virtually impossible and discover the terrible truth: a master plan to control all of humankind.
