In this part, the UN barely survives after the crass rejection of, and dissociation from her by the much disappointed Arab League following the former's inability to stop Israel from erecting a temple in East Jerusalem including the unprecedented eviction of all Palestinian citizens and interests from that axis. But this is only one of the UN's many headaches. She still battles with the global economic melancholy, fresh empirical wars in Europe, a daily and consistent loss of confidence in her ability to resolve serious conflicts scattered all over the world, amongst other issues. She is absolutely overwhelmed; she is limping on a leg; in synopsis, she is in a coma. But then, despite the avalanche of unfavourable circumstances she is webbed in, the forces of disfavour, whoever they are, or wherever they are, added to her woes with a new mystery that not only confounds the UN, but the whole world at large. In one fell swoop, the world experiences an unprecedented disappearances of people all around the globe; and the disappeared where in their hundreds of millions. They were not kidnapped, or imprisoned, or killed; they just disappeared. No part of the world is exempted, all nations and continents are affected. Adults disappeared, children too, and then, mark it: even children in the womb! Interestingly, those who disappeared did so leaving their clothes and personal effects behind, something never seen even in magic circles. A great pandemonium ensues as the world desperately seek answers to the disappearances with all sort of theories on display. What caused the disappearances? Where would those who disappeared be found? Will they be found? And other such questions. But while they battle with those questions, a woe upon woe visits earth yet again as a world war begins.
