Pastor Michelle Roberts answered her calling to become a Pastor and now she is the Pastor ofher own church Faith and Love Christian Center in Memphis, Tennessee. Achieving her dreamsdidn't come easy and it cost her, her marriage to famous gospel singer Jason Roberts. Michellemanaged to pick up the pieces after her divorce and everything is going well for her and hersixteen-year-old daughter Courtney. But that all changes when her father Pastor Louis Davis isstricken with terminal cancer, and his dying wish is that Michelle comes back to Kansas City andlead his church after he is gone. Michelle is torn about the decision because she doesn't wantto leave her church, and she knows her brother Jeffrey will fight her every step of the way. Michelle decides to honor her father's wishes and take over his church. Things quickly go badfor Michelle when a tragic situation arises, and instead of telling the truth Michelle decides tolie and even though she thinks she's made things better, they only get worse. Jeffrey Davis has always resented and envied his sister Michelle because she always excelledand followed in their father's footsteps when he always had to struggle. He is angry that hisfather chose Michelle to lead the church over him, and when Michelle comes back to lead thechurch Jeff is hoping she will fall flat on her face, and he will stop at nothing to see that happen. But Jeff is keeping secrets of his own and the downfall he is hoping for may very well be hisown.
