Fate of the empire and winning of battles lies within the superstition that the fire can never be extinguished. The year is 60 A. D and the birth of a little girl named Ceres will plunge the House of Vestal on a collision course with the Emperor Domiitian who wants to destroy this goodly group of women who's devotion to duty will clash with the vengeful Emperor.
