Meet Alec and his dog Roscoe! Alec is an imaginative, though unassuming, early primary school kid, an only child, with his best friend Roscoe, his dog. It's Christmas break time at his school and Alec is longing for a special wooden toy plane for Christmas this year. He has a near disastrous sledding mishap on his favorite sledding hill, followed by a hilarious ending to a Christmas pageant play, due to Roscoe's mischievousness. But, along the way he learns the meaning and origins of some of our Christmas traditions and holiday decorations and how they came to be part of our Christmas and holiday celebrations.
