The Space Files is going to revitalize director/writer/producer Poul Versé's career. How can it not? It's brilliant, if he doesn't say so himself. The directing, the cinematography, the writing, the casting. His casting is perfect, from his former assistant Kit in her first role, to luscious Bonnie James in a role he's writing just for her. The only snag is that Poul is falling for Bonnie and his legal team keeps warning him to stop doing that. Romancing his leading ladies seems to be contributing to his career dry path. That and the fact that he's crazy. Poul has hallucinations. Right now, he's seeing aliens and they may or may not be real. Bonnie James is desperate for a job. Her now ex-fiancee was running a galactic porn ring out of her house so Galactic Investigators have frozen Bonnie's accounts. She has no money and no home. Getting a one-on-one interview with Poul Versé feels like a miracle. Working with the once-acclaimed writer-director is supposed to result in ruined careers and heartache. All the tabloids say so, but Poul is the only one wanting to hire her these days.
