A rose by any other name would be an insult. A lotus flower grows through mud & yet it's intricate design is astounding. A miracle to say the least but that's just it. That's the way it's built. Each petal opens one by one. C'est La VieMy life: I go through dirt & grim. Obstacles to cross, barriers to break through. Ppl to defeat, yet and all the layers are either peeled off or it just breaks away. To reveal the beauty and the Woman I was birthed to be. Even through the mud a masterpiece can bloom in different forms. Each day is a chance to begin again. Past hurt and pain can't compare to the present bliss filled moments. My only gain is to have more compassion, stay humble, live, love and laugh. A collection of my poetry I have written throughout many years.
